Competition

Lead by Lassiney Kathann CAMARA, member of the competition Commission, this department is regularly consulted when legal or regulatory reforms are being discussed. Thus in 2014, its team members took an active part in the review of regulating texts governing Competition law. This includes :

– The draft decree regulating competition and prices

– The draft decree on the organisation and mode of operation of the competiton Commission

– The draft decree implementing the ordinance N°2013-662 of 20th September 2013 regarding competition and the entry conditions in Ivory Coast of foreign goods of all sources and origins as well as the exportation and re-exportation conditions of goods abroad.

– The draft decree prohibiting obstacles aimed at impeding competition

On top of that, CLKA assists various ivorian and international companies on all aspects of competition law such as anti-trust, merger control and state aids.
