Experts overseeing the project emphasize that such a system is essential for good governance and for any modern administration.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1278\" data-end=\"1468\">Implementing the RNPP is part of C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire\u2019s efforts to strengthen <strong data-start=\"1349\" data-end=\"1391\">administrative and security governance<\/strong> in order to substantially improve the living conditions of its population.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1470\" data-end=\"1496\">The reform will address:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1498\" data-end=\"1799\">\n<li data-start=\"1498\" data-end=\"1580\">\n<p data-start=\"1500\" data-end=\"1580\">The <strong data-start=\"1504\" data-end=\"1523\">legal framework<\/strong> of civil status and the production of vital statistics<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1581\" data-end=\"1658\">\n<p data-start=\"1583\" data-end=\"1658\">The <strong data-start=\"1587\" data-end=\"1631\">organizational and operational structure<\/strong> of civil status services<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1659\" data-end=\"1710\">\n<p data-start=\"1661\" data-end=\"1710\">The <strong data-start=\"1665\" data-end=\"1681\">digitization<\/strong> of the civil status system<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1711\" data-end=\"1799\">\n<p data-start=\"1713\" data-end=\"1799\"><strong data-start=\"1713\" data-end=\"1739\">Awareness and adoption<\/strong> of the system by the population and relevant institutions<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1801\" data-end=\"2174\">Additionally, the RNPP will serve as a <strong data-start=\"1840\" data-end=\"1864\">centralized database<\/strong> containing all civil status information. It is an integrated, comprehensive, reliable, and secure system that assigns <strong data-start=\"1983\" data-end=\"2106\">each Ivorian citizen and any foreign resident or visitor in C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire a unique National Identification Number (NIN)<\/strong>.
